[...] I found this through one of my blog friends… yeah we are totally friends… From the blog Craft Hope, their latest project is inspired by a friends young child who has been battling Leukemia. He has been having very intense chemo treatments for over three years now and it does seem that there is a light at the end of his tunnel. This little warrior is getting his port out and should be wrapping up final chemo treatment soon. Along with Craft Hope, the mother of this little warrior is trying to pass on a little happiness to others still in the midst of fighting. So they are collecting beanies (hats) for all ages baby through teenager, as well as bags for the kids to bring with them to the hospital. If you are interested in helping, the project deadline is Monday, March 12th. Check out more of the story and details here.
I have a ton of brand new totebags that I have purchased - can I decorate them with machine embroideries and appliques to send? The bags themselves won't be handmade so I just want to check befor I send them off. Also is there a size requirement for the bags? I have both small child sized ones and regular adult ones to send.

[...] And because I can only do one finger before getting completely tired of knitting fingers (seriously, they’re such a bore, I totally understand why the knitting community loves mittens and fingerless gloves so much), I’ve started working on my first hat for Craft Hope.
